Kari Roden, M.A.

Kari Roden, M.A. worked for 12 years as an Elementary school teacher and has her Masters in Literacy. Her career took a new trajectory when her daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2016. Kari currently owns Bloom Literacy Solutions, which focuses on Dyslexia Evaluations and Consulting. She was an Intensive Reading Interventionist with Laramie County School District #1 and has done work as a literacy advocate in the State of Wyoming. Kari assisted in the passing of Wyoming HB 297 related to dyslexia, evidence-based literacy, and reading screening and response. She co-founded a non-profit called WY LIT to provide funding across Wyoming for teacher training in evidence-based literacy. She is a Wilson Dyslexia Therapist and a CERI-certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist. Kari also serves on the International Dyslexia Association Rocky Mountain Branch Board of Directors. Her passion is ensuring all children learn to read proficiently. She provides virtual tutoring sessions using the Wilson Reading System through High Plains.
